There was a poll asking for facts about your Compound characters and I didn't feel like filling the whole page. Besides, I've been meaning to write all this out for a while anyways. Wiz is hard since he doesn't get a lot of back story or even his own plots or dialogue in the canon. I mostly pull from the manga, but I'll dabble in the anime. I also research dog and rabbit behavior and social structures (since I've only kept cats) because by most accounts he's a mix.
Stuff assumed from canon, and extrapolated on
-The obvious: Scared of water and 'scary stuff' ie haunted houses, horror movies, possibly even roller coasters and such. Loves strawberries and curry rice. (canon)
-Judging from the anime, is actually a Hikari artwork. Since his powers are mimicking life, possibly a plushie? (anime-canon/head-canon)
---Maybe the root of his fear of water? Plushies and washing machines don't mix. (definitely head-canon)
-Subbed for Daisuke in Home Ec, but seemed to manage. (canon) It's assumed between that and all that time hanging out with Daisuke's mom at home, he may actually be a decent cook. (head-canon)
-Can sense magic, and by extension, Dark's 'call'. (head/anime-canon)
-Had a brief, unrequited crush on a rabbit at a pet store. (anime-canon)
-Tended a strawberry plant...though that may have be Daisuke more. (anime-canon)
-If the manga artwork is any indication, size in wingform can vary greatly. (manga-canon)
-Almost became a stain on the pavement trying to find that crush after she was bought by someone. (anime-canon)
-Uses his fur to form 'clothes', so he really can't take them off without some scalping involved. Feathers are also formed with fur, so they dissolve after a moment's separation. If they weren't fur, a minor tear or ripped out feather would take a chunk out of his flesh. (head-canon)
-Learned most of his speech from TV....unsupervised. Thinks curse words are the same as any other word, just angry. (canon/head-canon)
-Knows the outside world through TV since he might get caught and dissected in bun or wing forms, thrown in jail as Dark, or caught by truancy officers as Daisuke. (head-canon)

-Makes up for it by being a strong flier--can pull evasive maneuvers with 1 person, and a bit with 2. Is extremely fast and agile by himself to answer Dark's call. (canon)
-Daisuke, after I think 18-19 generations of Dark hosts, is the first one to treat Wiz as a person, otherwise the ancestors would've tried teaching him speech a long time ago. (canon)
-While likely being able to understand speech for centuries, has only been speaking and thinking in words for around 2 years. (canon/compound fact)
-Between this and perfect, instantaneous transformations, it's assumed Wiz has great vision and hearing, as well as being a fast learner. He does lack a certain creativity as someone used to copying everything. (head-canon)
-Can read hiragana in the manga, but likely not kanji or even katakana since those are learned after according to Japanese schools. (canon)
-Can transform any part, not just copy. I mean, have you ever seen a winged dog thing? Dark probably designed it with him. Never bothered to come up with his own human form. (head-canon)
-Can actually fly with those big ears...but that's stupid so I don't write it. (canon)
Stuff based on canon and animal behavior
-Thinks of Daisuke as a brother. (anime-canon) Since he's Dark's host though, he is also to be obeyed in Dark's stead. (head-canon/rabbit social structure)
-Bathing and feeding resembles a dog (water baths and omnivore) rather than a rabbit (self-cleaning and herbivore). Unlike a dog however, rabbits have been known to go into shock and die from being bathed. Wiz has been half drowned many times in the manga, but at worst only passed out, so I guess he's more just scared. (canon/animal behavior)
-Rabbits can have dual positions in their 'packs'. Ergo, while Wiz feels he's second only to Dark in the pack as his esteemed assistant, he also knows he's the pet of the Niwa family, and a servant. Likewise, while he wants to be human to be like Dark and his family, he doesn't want to give up his abilities as they are what allows him to help Dark. (head-canon/rabbit behavior)
-Rabbits have been known to go into depression and die at the loss of a good friend or mate, so it's not so odd that both times his girl was taken he almost died. Riku even mentions this in the anime. (canon/compound/rabbit behavior)
Fun facts from Compound!
-Studies grammar, math, reading, and writing on his own every week, lest he be restrained in the library.
-Hates bathing in shallow water or even showers because (besides hating water) the waterlogged fur feels weird, scented soaps are the devil, it's cold afterward (hates the noisy blow dryer), and a variety of other contrived excuses.
-Has a collection of Nill things, including a feather from her, a painting by Satoshi, and Haine's plushie that he stole.
-Makes a variety of rabbit and dog sounds, including an odd purr, regardless of form. Look it up on youtube. Really I just thought it'd be cute.
-Actually has a few human clothes for the winter since he can only fluff his fur-clothes up so much. Borrows Daisuke's if he needs them otherwise. Also has a low rack of cloaks to fit his bunform.
-Has dog hygiene--will eat raw food off the ground and bugs in they're in the way. Borrows Daisuke's toothbrush and hair brush if he wants to 'spiff up', despite being provided his own. Uses the 'extra one' for other things like scrubbing nails and scratching his back.
-Does wash his hands/paws before cooking since that's how he was taught. Won't eat raw meat or eggs for this reason as well. Has trouble with eating utensils and usually eats with his hands.
-Prefers Daisuke's form since they're 'equals'. Dark's is better, but also has a more notorious reputation, making it a hassle to go in his form. besides, it's disrespectful to his master!

Beta--The current Wing Master (Daisuke), or Dark-sama's familiar (Wiz)
Emiko and Daiki share the same position as the Last (potential, but unrealized) Dark-sama, and the Last (genuine) Dark-sama. If Emiko was male, they'd have a higher position than Daiki as the more recent host.
Kousuke--The Last (potential)Dark-sama's 'sacred maiden'
Wiz--humble pet and servant to the kind family that keeps him off the streets, feeds him, and keeps him from being neglected and forgotten like other artworks.
Outsiders~!
Towa and Argentine are servants....but he has seniority. Not there long enough to be considered family or pack yet.
'Sacred Maidens'--potential family members to be brought in by a wedding. Should be respected and accommodated, but not necessarily obeyed. Sacred Maidens are to be helped and taken care of in the Wing Master's place if needed. Once married into the family, they will be second only to whoever they married.

He also knew that a human would want a better position than 'pet', so he didn't have anything to offer status-wise. Even if he thought of it from the Familiar-Beta position, he knew she couldn't be a familiar too. So in short, because of his species and status, he never thought he was good enough for her.Alpha--Dark-sama (of course!)
