It seems people who have never been in a thread with my Wiz are understandably a bit confused by the posting style. In canon, Wiz is unable to speak, seemingly until Daisuke takes it upon himself to teach him. However, his master Dark has been able to give him directions for centuries, so obviously he's been capable of understanding human language. Dark can also call him from anywhere mentally. So extrapolating from that, one could assume he was always able to 'talk' back the same way, albeit likely in emotions and maybe images since he lacked the ability to actually *use* words.

For the sake of the game, I play him as somewhat broadcasting his speech (not thoughts) to any with the ability to hear. In his world, Dark and Krad could hear him from the start, but Satoshi and Daisuke had to 'level up' their magic to hear it. People without magic in his world don't have a chance. Because everyone's from different worlds, there are some without any magic at all that can hear him. I assume if Wiz were to visit their world, everyone could hear him because they have an unrecognized genetic(or maybe dimensional?) trait for it. Likewise, if Daisuke went to their world with Wiz, he might be able to hear all their animals...like Doctor Doolittle...

Anyways, that's the reasoning. He's still learning 'human' speech. His natural vocalizations are a range of 'kyu's, and they semi-regularly work their way into his speech. If your character can't understand him in animal form, all the 'kyu's in his speech are probably audible...along with teeny cute bunny squeaky noises or something...use your imagination.

And so, after reading that essay (or just skipping ahead, you cheater!) here's the font explanation.

Hi-Kyu~! = Audible speech or sounds
Hi-Kyu~! = In human forms, inaudible thoughts; in animal forms, 'broadcast' speech
*does something totally awesome* = Actions, sometimes vague thoughts (in animal form), sometimes, my thoughts leaking in. Also sometimes notes voice characteristics...

Font size changes generally denote volume....icons indicate form......uh....hmm...otherwise, just read it and take a stab at interpretation...let's have fun together, ne?
